The Indian cricket team will be making its fourth successive appearance in the semi-final of the ODI World Cup

At the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai India will take on New Zealand in the first semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023  today.

The Indian cricket team secured all nine victories in the 2023 ODI World Cup convincingly. Conversely, New Zealand kicked off their campaign with four consecutive wins but faced a setback against India in their fifth match and lost momentum. They endured defeats against South Africa, Australia and Pakistan in the following matches before securing their spot in the semi-finals by defeating Sri Lanka in their last league match.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul have also been among the runs.

For New Zealand, Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell have been the most consistent with the bat. The winner of the IND vs NZ semi-final match will take on either South Africa or Australia in the final of the ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 scheduled on Sunday.
